It's an unusual sight when Luis Pujols throws batting practice, with a glove on his left hand as he throws with his right. He says it's for a simple reason, to provide a sense of balance and comfort since that's how he did it during his playing days. Pujols also has found a comfort level in his first season as the Hooks' manager.

Northwest Arkansas continued its dramatically better play in Arvest Ballpark on Thursday night, riding Kila Kaaihue's league-leading 10th home run to a 6-2 win over Springfield. The win pulls the Naturals into a tie with the Cardinals atop the Texas League North Division standings.
